Science standards used in the 4th R Program

The District provides a fourth grade school recycling program that meets several of the Indiana Academic Standards for Science Education. Our program focuses on teaching students the importance of recycling and encourages students to become better recyclers in their communities. Aspects of the following standards are addressed as students participate in hands-on activities:
